COLORADO HAIL HISTORY / ADDRESS LOOKUP

Was hail reported
near your property?

Check the weather record around your Colorado address. See the reported dates, hail sizes and distance, then keep a PDF for your property file.

View the lookup first. Email is optional.

START WITH THE ADDRESS

Look up your
Colorado property.

Your address goes to the U.S. Census Geocoder to locate it, then we check nearby public hail reports. You’ll see the area and dates actually searched.

No email needed to see the result.

Enter the street and city, then leave this field to fill in the confirmed address. ZIP is optional.

See how Peak handles requests in our privacy policy.

THE NEXT STEP FOR YOUR ROOF

Could insurance help pay
for your new roof?

A covered storm claim can help pay for a roof replacement. Start with the hail history, then have the roof assessed. Your deductible and any depreciation, exclusions or work outside the covered scope affect what you pay.

Nearby hail reports are a reason to inspect the roof. An inspection and policy review are needed to determine whether roof replacement is appropriate or covered.

BEFORE YOU USE THE REPORT

What the hail
record can tell you.

Read the coverage window and source limitations with the result.

Could insurance replace my roof for just the deductible?

That can happen when a covered loss requires a roof replacement and the policy pays the agreed replacement cost. It is not guaranteed by a hail report. Your deductible, roof payment schedule, depreciation, exclusions, limits and any upgrades affect what you owe. Ask your insurer for the covered scope and payment breakdown, then compare it with the construction estimate before approving the work.

What does the Colorado hail check show?

It looks for reported hail near the address you enter, using the data source, search radius and date window shown with the result. Matching records include the reported event date, hail size when listed, and distance from the matched address location. You can review the result before providing an email address.

Does a nearby hail report mean my roof is damaged?

No. A weather report describes a reported event near the property. It does not establish that hail struck the exact roof, identify construction damage or determine whether insurance covers a loss. A roof assessment and your property records answer different questions from the weather history.

What does it mean if no reports are found?

No matching reports means the search did not find a record inside the displayed area and date window. It does not prove that hail never occurred or that the roof has no damage. Reports can be incomplete, and the available data may not cover the date you have in mind.

How current is the hail information?

The result shows when the lookup was run and the dates included in the search. Those are different from the time an event was observed or added to the source. Read the source details and limitations beside your result, especially when checking a recent storm.

Do I have to request an inspection to get my report?

No. You can view the lookup without entering an email. If you want a PDF by email, request it after the result appears. Asking Peak to contact you about a roof inspection is a separate, optional choice.

What if the hail lookup is unavailable?

An unavailable result means the address or weather data could not be checked successfully. It is different from finding no matching reports. Try again later, or contact Peak with the property and the storm date you want to discuss.

Use this hail checker with an AI assistant

Compatible assistants can connect to Peak’s public MCP server to check nearby Colorado hail reports, prepare a PDF and email a report when you ask. An inspection request is a separate choice.

Read the tool definitions and connection details. Availability depends on the assistant and its connection settings. A weather result does not establish roof damage or insurance coverage.
